Phase 1: The Roots (A Century Ago)

Our journey began over a century ago with Ali Kunju Essukunju, a visionary farmer and a man of sharp business instinct. On the fertile lands of Peringamala, together with the local people and the strength of ploughing animals, he cultivated over 300 acres of farmland. His dedication and keen mind laid the earliest seeds of what would later grow into a family of entrepreneurs.
Phase 3: The Rise of Ansari Essukunju

The next chapter unfolded with Ansari Essukunju, the son of Essukunju Alikunju. Carrying the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, he inherited not wealth, but the unshakable traits of courage, perseverance, and foresight passed down from his forefathers. Ansari transformed the small retail shop into a growing business empire, expanding its reach and setting the stage for Brothers Group International to emerge. His journey was one of resilience, ambition, and a refusal to accept limits.
Phase 2: A Name Revived

Among his descendants was his sixth grandchild, Essukunju Alikunju, named after his great grandfather for a reason. Though life tested him from the very start — his father passed away soon after his birth, leaving him with nothing — he refused to give in to despair. With courage as his only inheritance, he founded Chittoor Brothers Grocery Store in the small town of Chittoor, Peringamala. This humble shop became the foundation stone of the Brothers’ legacy, marking the family’s first step into the world of trade and retail.
Phase 4: The New Generation

Today, the torch is carried forward by his two sons, Mohammad Bilal Ansari Essukunju and Al-Ameen Ansari Essukunju. Guided by the legacy of their great grandfather Ali Kunju, and the resilience of Essukunju Alikunju and Ansari Essukunju, they have taken the family business to new heights. Under their leadership, Brothers Group International has become a multi-sector, multinational enterprise spanning India, Saudi Arabia, and China, employing over 1,000 people across industries from retail and wholesale to technology, hospitality, and manufacturing.
